I have to say how Ted and Lacey met was real familiar. In fact I even got to meet my Ted because we were hitting it off online so well. But when we met we were both disappointed. I think its because Ted and Lacey REALLY got to know each other before they met. Mark and I rushed into it and really didn't know each other to well! We were just real hot! Thats not enough. I know that now. I might try again but go a little slower this time.

I was even crazier. After lots of emails and a few calls, I flew across country and lived with William for almost a month in this big house.(His brother Ned lived there too. We all hated each other and only after I did that I realized they could of been murderers or something. My mother warned me. I should've listened. Ned cooked real good though. He was a cutie. He even paid for my ticket home.

One of my good buddies met his wife through online chatting. They lived about 2 hours apart at the time, it progressed naturally and now they have 4 kids!!.
In the beginning we all gave them a hard time about it, but as the relationship continued onward to marriage we realized how good for each other they actually were.... Lacey's Day captures that once in a lifetime roulette wheel of love that can happen anywhere at all even through a modem...................

I know of at least two people who ended up getting married to people they met on the Internet. I've always wondered how a medium like e-mail could bring people together and create such a strong bond.
Throughout the book, I kept reading on to see how this relationship would develop. I'd definitely like to know more about these characters.

Awesome book, a real page turner. Left me wanting more of Ted and Lacey's love affair.

This book is so true to life it gives me chills. The beginning interest, the slow growth of intimacy and trust, all via email, a medium that allows us to speak from our hearts and to echo our souls without all the distractions of everyday life. Jack Eadon has described perfectly a relationship that started for me over two years ago and is still going strong today. A delightful book that brought back both the fears and the joy of the beginnings of my email relationship. I only wish mine will turn out as well!
